NoHo’s Arc

May 17, 2014
Recognizing the need for a technical education with relevance to real world job opportunities, Ray Franco embarked on the challenge of creating a charter school that would prepare students for a college education while also training them for immediate entrance to the construction job industry upon graduation.

The proposed location for the school is an abandoned vacant lot located across from North Hollywood Park sandwiched between Chandler Avenue and the Metro Orange Line.  The school will be a 3-Story 41,000 square foot building, with the footprint utilizing less than 13,500 square feet.  The building is comprised of 24 classrooms, a multipurpose room, a library, galleries, various labs and a rooftop learning area equipped with wind mills and solar panels.
